Our Lady of Lourdes Sixth Grade Rocks!
Words to live by:
Let us be very sincere in our dealings with each other, and have the courage to accept each other as we are.
Do not be surprised, or become preoccupied with each others' failures - rather, see and find in each other the good, for each of us is created in the image of God.
~Mother Teresa

Well, our Religious Education year is over! I hope you all have a very safe and fun-filled summer. Remember what you've learned this year, open your Bible and read for inspiration and encouragement. Our Food for the Poor project collected $206.30 between the 6th grade and 5th grade classes. That is enough to provide a water pump for a village! The 5th grade class was the winner of the challenge, with $123.52 collected! The 6th grade class collected $82.78. Congratulate your 5th grade friends! See you next year!

What are you doing?
Lent is almost over, only a week and a half until Easter! Take a moment to think about what YOU have done during Lent to show Jesus that you care about Him and you appreciate the sacrifice He made for you.
Remember to sacrifice of YOUR TIME to earn money for our Feed the Children project. We only have a little over $50.00. That is only 25% of our goal, and time is running out! Find a way to contribute your time and money to help children who have so much less than you do. I challenge you!!

Welcome to our blog!
Here it is, the blog/website I promised! I want this to be our CLASS website, so feel free to post here too! Don't forget about our Feed the Children project. Bring your spare change for our change jar so that we can provide a family with a goat. Also, remember my challenge to you: memorize the 10 Commandments and I will buy you any two-liter of pop that you want!
